Experience:
Mr. Tynan has over ten years experience in real property tax assessment appeals, which includes appearances before the County Board of Equalization, the Arizona Tax Court, and Court of Appeals.
Mr. Tynan interned in the Los County Assessor’s Office legal and legislative section. Research included the implementation and interpretation of Proposition 13, administrative law, wills and trusts, construction, state and local taxation, valuation of property and family law. Mr. Tynan was an associate of Richard R. Schmal from 1980 through 1981, and he became a sole practitioner in association with Max M. Klass. Subsequently, he became a partner in Klass, Mothershead & Tynan, P.A. through 1985. Mr. Tynan continues to practice in association with four other sole practitioners.
Mr. Tyan represents such property tax clients as Intel Corporation, Safeway, Outback Steakhouse, Terry Brodkin & Associates, Deloitte & Touche, Cole & Company, and Valle Vista golf course. He has handled over 180 cases in the Arizona Tax Court.
