Experience:
Mr. Mauldin’s property tax experience spans over 15 years representing clients’ interests in the South. Prior to forming his own practice, Mr. Mauldin spent 11 years with one of the largest nationwide property tax consulting companies in the U.S. He spent a majority of his time as senior consultant in Texas and was responsible for opening the Nashville, Tennessee office during his last 3 years.
Mr. Mauldin possesses an extensive background involving real and personal property valuation issues specifically in the areas of manufacturing, R&D, healthcare, and hospitality. As a result, Mr. Mauldin has successfully challenged assessments appearing before numerous local Assessment Appeals Boards, State Boards of Equalization, and Tax Courts in multiple states.
As an affiliate of DePasquale, Kelley & Company, Mr. Mauldin is responsible for the administration, valuation, appeal, and presentation of property tax assessments for the areas referenced in his geographic responsibility.

Real property valuations (major properties), land development analyses, direct assessment audits, new construction audits, and golf course valuations. Personal property audits involving reclassification of assets, depreciation schedules, and obsolescence.urt.
